Food

“Food is a central activity of mankind and one of the single most significant trademarks of a culture.”

Food Vision

Food and nutrition teaches students fundamentally how to look after their future selves, not only preparing students for potential careers in the food industry but teaching them the understanding of nutrition and health. Our students are able to make informed choices, prepare and create a variety of outcomes while applying the theoretical knowledge required for a professional kitchen. Students can explore the world through food, exposing them to a wide range of cultures and ingredients. By understanding the selection of ingredients and where they come from students will gain insight into understanding climate, economics and other cultural factors that make up the reasons and ways people exist.
