Homework

At Alde Valley we believe that those students who are highly successful at A ‘level and GCSE have highly developed independent learning skills, where they have the capacity to lead the learning process through their questions and idea. We believe it enhances their ability to become resilient and resourceful learners.

Homework does not always mean to be completed at home, it can mean a task which is completed in-between lessons, in the library, or in an after-school club.

Homework is monitored by the class teacher and Head of Department, and detentions are set by the Head of Department.
